Sheriff Limperson is based off of the Limpkin birds that reside in Louisiana. These birds are known for their appetite towards the state’s newly invasive species, apple snails. However due to the Limpkin’s overactive stomach they have also killed off various other mollusks making them near extinct. Sherrif Limperson is a bit hungry for more than snails, being hungry on power. This character is meant to call attention to these environmental issues in a playful and silly manner. This allows for all ages to be brought aware to these issues.
